SILBERTHAL is a German online store for high-quality kitchen utensils. The founders from Stuttgart do not only attach importance to particularly aesthetic design in their product selection. As passionate cooks, it is important to them that each product meets the highest possible standards and can be used outstandingly at the same time. Silberthal stands for a special kind of cooking experience - in the restaurant as well as at home.
The
problems
Storytelling
When redesigning the store, great importance was attached to an emotional image world that makes people want to cook. For this purpose, we not only rely on pure product photography, but also on depictive actions such as a pleasurable facial expression while dining or the joyful, deepened face of a hobby chef at home.
User guidance
The operation of a store should be as simple as possible so that customers of all age groups can quickly find their way around. Therefore, attention was paid to a clear and simple user guidance.
Lack of trust
Clear user benefits such as free shipping options, telephone support, discounts, clarity about payment methods and return rights address basic interests of every customer. Therefore, special emphasis was placed on clear communication in the design.
AOV too low
The higher the revenue per customer, the better an online store can be scaled. Intelligent cross-selling and upselling significantly increased the average order value.
Slow loading time
One second slower corresponds to a conversion rate decrease of 7%! Therefore, during the redesign, special attention was paid to a fast loading time and unnecessary apps and code snippets were removed.
Little product info
Customers want to know exactly what they are buying and what benefits they will gain from the product. Therefore, the description was fundamentally revised and supplemented with visually appealing images.
Our
solution
Thanks to the redesign of the SILBERTHAL store, all KPIs have already increased enormously in the first four weeks after the relaunch. The sales, the AOV, the conversion rate and the rate of returning visitors have experienced a significant increase.
