How to create a new WordPress administrator in the database

That’s no problem at all! In this article, we’ll show you how to create a new administrator in your database and thus regain full access. You’ll then be able to use and optimise your website again without any issues.

CREATING A NEW ADMINISTRATOR FOR WORDPRESS VIA THE DATABASE

• Please set the following values in advance:
  • Username
  • Email address
  • Password
  • Prefix for your WordPress installation (see database)
• Use the form below to generate your SQL query (link with anchor)
• Log in to your WordPress database (e.g. via your hosting provider or phpMyAdmin)
• Paste the query, run it, and you’re ready to go!

You can then log back into your WordPress admin panel using your new username and the password you have set.
