Case: PAKAMA
PAKAMA is a German manufacturer of fitness equipment.
As a D2C brand, the products are sold directly to end customers via the company’s own Shopify shop, in conjunction with online marketing (Meta Ads, Google Ads, influencers, etc.).
The core product is a fitness rucksack containing sports equipment for a functional full-body workout. The rucksack is complemented by a training app.
The sports rucksack was also featured on ‘Die Höhle der Löwen’ in 2020.
The hypothesis
IF we tailor the product page more closely to the needs of the female target audience,
THEN the overall conversion rate for the rucksack will increase,

Results
This A/B test resulted in a 17 per cent increase in the overall conversion rate and a 23 per cent rise in page value.
Variant B was validated as statistically significant and has therefore been published online as the standard variant on all product pages.
Based on this new benchmark, Golden Web Age will now carry out further A/B tests and optimisations in future.
