rocka Nutrition
FROM THE TEST
VIEW THE WHOLE SHOP
rocka Nutrition combines plant-based proteins, supplements and snacks under a brand that stands out. In the shop, customers are presented with a wide range of flavours and product variants as they seek to find the product that suits them best. The product detail page plays a key role in this process: it is here that interest turns into a concrete purchasing decision.
Our collaboration began with an A/B test on the product detail page. The new page design delivered an uplift. This led to a long-term partnership: for around a year now, we have been working together to optimise other areas of the shop – from category pages to the homepage – and providing rocka with ongoing support on technical matters.

The challenges
The product detail page brings together product claims, information and purchasing options. Our first point of focus was therefore precisely the page where customers select their flavour and size and add the product to their basket.
A new design should demonstrate its effectiveness in a physical shop. For this reason, the revamped product detail page was tested using an A/B test. The comparison provided a concrete basis for our continued collaboration.
A wide range of products and pack sizes makes a shop attractive, but requires the selection process to be clear. The product image, the selected variant, the price and the purchase options must remain clearly recognisable in context.
First of all, the relevant product page needs to be found. As we continued to develop the category pages, we therefore also focused on helping users navigate the product range and move on to selecting specific products.
The homepage showcases the brand and provides access to the product range. It was part of the phased revamp to ensure that the first impression and the subsequent shopping pages work in harmony.
New requirements arise even after a design project has been completed. rocka therefore needs technical support from someone who is familiar with the shop and can implement further adjustments in line with the development to date.
Our solutions
We began with a clearly defined approach: a new design for the product detail page and an A/B test to assess its impact on the shop. The focus was on product presentation and the path leading to a specific selection.
On this basis, what began as work on a single page developed into a long-term collaboration. Since then, we have been gradually developing various sections of the shop, including the category pages and the homepage. Design, user guidance and technical support are all intertwined in this process: every further adjustment builds on the understanding we have gained through our joint project.
The result
The first A/B test on the product detail page (PDP) showed an uplift with the new page design. This initial collaboration has since developed into a partnership that has now been in place for around a year and extends beyond the product detail page.
Today, we are working with rocka to further develop various shop pages and provide long-term IT support. This is creating a shop that is being developed and refined across individual projects.
